The position of Sales Engineer at Coreslab Structures is an integral part of the sales and estimating departments and works under the supervision of the Sales Manager. The role of the Sales Engineer is to provide design and detailing assistance on potential projects that are in the early stages of development. The goal of the Sales Engineer is to work closely with Coreslab’s Project Consultants and Estimators to achieve cost-effective solutions in precast concrete that can be presented to potential clients and that ultimately will lead to an award of contract.
- Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering
- Ability to attain State of Arizona registration is a plus
- Minimum 5 years precast experience
- LEED AP is a plus
- A broad working knowledge of structural and architectural precast products
- Ability to prepare framing concepts
- Analyze member designs for thickness, depth and spanning capabilities
- Develop concepts for connection details
- General knowledge of local building codes, plan check procedures, etc.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel and Microsoft Word.
